Jason has more than 25 years of experience in the area of executive compensation as a consultant and attorney. He advises board compensation committees and senior management on the design of executive, Board and equity compensation arrangements with expertise in pay governance matters. His experience includes executive and board compensation assessments, equity strategies including option exchanges and equity plan design and severance/change in control program design. He regularly advises clients on governance-related compensation matters including the compensation policies of the major proxy advisory firms. His clients range from early stage pre-IPO to mature publicly-traded companies.
Prior to joining Compensia, Jason was an executive compensation attorney at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
Jason received a JD from the University of California at Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law, and a BA in Economics, magna cum laude, from the University of Oregon.
